The Labyrinth of Love is a diary from Elizabeth DiAlto, born in the Fall of 2022.

For many years now I’ve known I would eventually talk about culture, connection, human behavior, dating, sex, love, and intimacy in a deeper way, but I didn’t want it to distract from the healing work I do at the School of Sacred Embodiment.

I surrendered the how and the when to the Divine, trusting that when it was time, I’d know…

In October 2022, I got the “nudge.”

I’m talking about all kinds of intimacy by the way, not just romantic. In fact, self-intimacy and platonic intimacy are two things I’m valuing more and more as I approach midlife and I have A LOT thoughts to share about both!

With every year of my life, I am more and more certain that part of my purpose is to question as much programming as possible. I know I’m here to buck a ton of systems and traditions. It’s also a big part of my mission to decolonize, reindigenize, and rematriate so much of what this culture indoctrinates us away from.

It’s also about time to start stretching out and strengthening my fiction wings and I’m excited to explore that here. (Update! I originally wrote this in October 2022, in Feb 2024, I published my first work of fiction. It’s called Dark Healing: Secret Order of Priestesses Book 1)

I hope The Labyrinth of Love will feel like a digital sanctuary where you can bring your heart, your thoughts, fears, worries, reflections, insights, desires, and curiosities, and share your own experiences, too.

As with everything I do, share, and create, it’s not just for or about me… it’s for US - a community of Mystics and Wild Souls that are hungry for real and raw stories and conversations about something we all need - LOVE.

The big question here is, “how do we explore all of this in physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually healthy ways, that also help us to weave a better world into being?”

I have been writing and sharing on topics related to healing, growth, and transformation for 13+ years now. People often tell me I have a way of giving language to things they were feeling, but couldn’t articulate themselves.I’m excited to do more of that here and to have amazing discussions about these topics.

I’m also excited to have a place where the community is for everybody.

My work at the School of Sacred Embodiment has been solely focused on women since 2013. As Frederick Joseph reminds us, all marginalized groups need to have spaces where the people in them can feel like they’re theirs. Women need women-only spaces.

Here in The Labyrinth of Love, all humans are welcome as long as you’re coming with curiosity, an open mind, a willingness to be uncomfortable, and lots of reverence and respect for the inherent sacredness in human connection.

If you know me, you know, I’m never interested in personal exploration, inquiry, or healing that isn’t also aimed at collective healing and liberation.

About Me

Here’s the formal bio I use on the website, for speaking gigs, guest teaching, and interviews:

Known for her nuanced, inclusive, and humor-infused approach to spirituality and the healing arts, Elizabeth DiAlto is an Embodiment Specialist and a Spiritual Futurist.

In 2013 she founded the School of Sacred Embodiment, where she’s developed a range of healing and liberatory frameworks and modalities that blend together movement, energy work, and mystical wisdom. Her specialty is helping people live through what she calls the highest part of all of us – our Wild Soul.

A native New Yorker with Boricua and mixed-European roots, Elizabeth now calls Miami home, is an avid salsa dancer, and has a laugh that has been described as “a sound bath of sunshine and joy.”
